LED work lights are more energy-efficient and cost-effective than halogen, fluorescent, or incandescent, bulbs. LED lights use around 90% less energy than incandescent lights. More people every day are starting to use LED lighting as a way to save on energy costs and improve the overall appearance. Portable lights designed to illuminate the working area (temporarily) at industrial, commercial, and residential work and use LED lights as a source of illumination are defined as LED work light.
LED work lights are of two types, such as plug-in LED work lights and battery operated LED work lights (rechargeable and non- rechargeable). Each has its own benefits and disadvantages. Both types of LED work lights are very useful and come in a wide range of different styles and colors. Battery operated LED work lights are by far the easiest type of lighting to work with. They use a rechargeable NiCad base, which has a built in circuit to provide all of the necessary illumination for the job. They offer a high level of versatility and are inexpensive compared to most other types of lighting.
While, plug in LED work lights can be used almost anywhere there is an outlet. Different types of LED work lights are available in the market, such as LED handheld lights, LED headlamp, and LED lantern. These light fixtures are extensively used in industrial, commercial, and residential settings. There is a prevalent demand for LED work lights in Mexico. More than 2.6 million high-efficient light bulbs were sold, for a subsidized cost of 60%, in Guadalajara and Monterrey (cities in Mexico) as part of the pilot project demonstration for efficient LED lighting, According to the World Bank.
This project has surpassed its physical targets and successfully demonstrated the feasibility of reducing both greenhouse gas emission and reduction in electricity consumption.
