Stearates is one of the popular ingredient used in natural remedies for treating wide range of disease

Stearates or caralluma fimbriata is an essential oil that is extracted from the stems of a palm tree. There are several species of this palm but the most popular is the Caralluma data. This oil is native to central and southern India, Sri Lanka, and North Africa. Although it is used in cosmetics, toothpaste, fabric softener, shampoos, deodorants, as well as a flavoring for certain beverages, Stearates is also popular in natural remedies for treating such common illnesses as flu, colds, coughs, bronchitis, cold sores, fever, acne, as well as other skin diseases. Thus, this means they have therapeutic properties which makes its utilization in various remedies.

Stearic acids are saturated fatty acids with an inter-petrochemical 18-cell long chain. The IUPAC name is octaneizoic acid. It has a pleasant odor and its chemical structure is C18H36O2, with two double bonds between the carbon atoms of each carbon. The esters and alcohols of stearates are also known as carboxylic acids. They have a medium intensity greenish-yellow color when they are lighted, clear to pale yellow when lightened much more and the stearate itself does not change in this respect.

They are formed through the reaction of the saponins and essential oils of the palm with the alcohols and methyl salicylates of the fatty acids. This chain of chemical reagents is called the monoterpenes and the main products of this reaction are the salts of the monoterpenes. It has been found that some of the most common varieties of stearates and their salts have high solubility properties. These salts are used for a variety of purposes in aromatherapy. The salts are hydrophilic (water-soluble), non-polar (do not attract water), and non-esteriprotective (don't hinder the re-absorption of nutrients by the body).
