Blood ketone meters are sued to measures ketones level in the blood. Ketones are substances that body makes if cells don't get enough glucose (blood sugar). Thus, there is an increasing demand for blood ketone meters in this region.

Thus, with the increasing prevalence of diabetes, the demand for blood ketone meter is also increasing with a rapid pace around the world, as the most accurate way to test for ketones is to use a meter that measures blood ketone levels. High ketone levels may indicate diabetic ketoacidosis, a complication of diabetes that can lead to a coma or even death.
