Hyper automation is simply the application of emerging technologies such as RPA, Machine Learning, artificial intelligence, process mining, and virtualization to augment manual processes and automatically complete tasks in far more meaningful ways than with traditional industrial automation methods. It can be applied to manufacturing, distribution, assembly, and services industries. Hyper automation will allow companies to share in the profits as well as to create new jobs and ways to work each day. Consider the logistics behind grocery stores. All of the food has to be stored, organized, and delivered quickly and efficiently. Manually putting food on the shelves, placing it in the right boxes and containers, and keeping track of delivery times can be an overwhelming task. It takes so much manual labor to run a store like this.
However, with software programs and algorithms, the entire process will be streamlined. Everything will be accounted for on the computer. Workers will simply log in and see their performance score. They will see how they stack up against other employees. If they need improvement or wish to climb up the ranks, they can use software to let the computer know.
Hyper automation will allow companies to save money as well as to increase productivity and profitability. They will then be able to expand and take on more clients and fulfill more requests at one time. No more filing for hours or standing in customer service lines. It's about efficiency and speed. Each dollar spent by the company will produce more dollars saved and a faster and safer system for everyone involved.
