The consumer demand for discount athletic footwear is very high and Puma is trying to cash in on this by adding some styles to its catalog. The key players in the athletic footwear market are well aware of Puma’s position as a major force in the industry and keep on advertising to this potential buyers of their products.
Reebok has recently focused on plant-based footwear in order to promote sustainability in the athletic footwear industry. In October 2020, Reebok launched its Forever Floatride Grow. The footwear targets the environmentally-conscious runners looking to progress their sustainability efforts without sacrificing performance.
