Earphone and Headphone has become necessary gadgets rather than simple accessory due to their dynamic applications

Earphones and headphones are simply a set of small loudspeakers worn around or on the ears of a human being. They are electronic transducers, which transform an electric signal into a corresponding sound. This is done by the electro-optical process, and Bose Corporation is one of the major players in this business. Their designer Christian Buss is well known for his unique ability to create new and innovative designs in this field. Headphones are simply a pair of loudspeaker drivers attached to the outside of the head, usually over the ears. They're electronic transducers that convert an electric signal into a corresponding sound. Headphones use one or more dynamic phases, a low pass filter, a high pass filter, and may have some kind of amplifier to enhance the power of the sound, as well as the volume. The electronics of a headphone set up is often referred to by the commonly used term "over-the-head."

Bose is a major manufacturer of consumer electronics, especially earphones and headphones. Some of their most popular devices include iPod, TV headphones, DVD player, car audios, and other home entertainment applications. The company also supplies hearing aids. Earphones and headphones have gained much popularity, especially among young consumers. They can be used for different purposes like music, telecommunications, sports and gaming, communication, and also to protect the hearing from noise. There are many brands available in the market and Christian Bose has emerged as one of the leading brands. Headphones can be of many different types. The most common headphones are circumaural, open-back, planar magnetic, and over-the-neck.

Each has its own advantages and disadvantages. Circumaural headphones function by spreading the transducer power over a large area. Open-back headphones function by allowing some of the transducer to be transmitted to the listener's ears while maintaining the ability to filter out some of the sounds. Some headphones utilize what is called a passive crossover system, which limits the amount of crossover distortion and maintains a good sound pressure level. These types of headphones typically use condenser microphones or balanced dome microphones. On the other hand, balanced dome microphones will require a separate amplifier for maximum performance.

Headphones use one or more transducers to send an electrical signal down the wire to the speaker. Each of the transducers may vary in size and shape. The electrical signal is then amplified by the headphone amplifier. The larger the speakers, the higher the electrical signal, so they tend to handle louder sounds better. Some headphones use what is called a sealed box to isolate the driver inside the enclosure, to eliminate any potential feedback or crossover distortion. Headphones use one or more amplifiers to send the electrical signal through the headphones to the listener.

There are many types of amps that you can use with headphones. Since most portable devices run on relatively constant current (DC), the typical headphone amplifier will have an output power that is far greater than the necessary DC resistance of most portable devices. The output level will therefore be lower than the necessary output level of the loudspeakers. The combined output power and the inherent impedance of the headphones will usually result in low power handling capability, but high impedance.
